1. Sediment Removal

Using a sediment filter to remove:

Mud Scale Rust

Slime Hair Algae etc.

Down to 1 micron in size ( 1 Micron = 1 thousandth of a millimetre )

2. Chemical Removal

Using Carbon

• Activated Carbon
• Catalytic Absorptive Carbons

To remove:

Chlorine Chloroform Chloramines Insecticides

Pesticides Sulphates Sulphites etc.

This option is recommended for town water / chlorinated water.

Giardia and Cryptosporidium removal can be achieved by upgrading to a 0.5 micron carbon block.

3. Removal of Dissolved Solids

Using a Reverse Osmosis Membrane reduces the following water contaminents:

Lead Copper Barium Chromium Mercury Sodium Cadmium Fluoride Nitrite Nitrate Aluminium

Bacteria Potassium Fluoride Nickel Silver Manganese Ammonium Chromium Selenium Arsenic Sulphate

Phosphate Iron Magnesium Zinc Chloride Silicate Cyanide Sulphide

Our Reverse Osmosis System combines the previous 3 methods to remove all contaminents mentioned so far.

4. Ultra Violet Sterilisation

Ultraviolet or UV Sterilisation is typically used in situations where your water supply is Tank, Dam or Bore Water. Can be used with chlorinated water as well.

It achieves 99.99% removal of bacteria, viruses, algae ie. Hepatitis, E Coli, Cholera & Legionnaires Disease.

For UV filtering we recommend our UV Twin or UV Triple systems which combine sediment and carbon filters with a UV filter.
